DOT Urine Specimen Collector Proficiency Training Course

This course meets and exceeds the DOT requirements for urine collection Proficiency Demonstration. This course is designed to comply with new DOT regulations pertaining to collectors.

THIS COURSE DOES NOT INCLUDE PART ONE OF THE COMPLETE DOT UDS COLLECTOR TRAINING (which includes New DOT rules requiring all collectors undergo basic knowledge and qualification training). You must have have Basic Knowledge and Qualification Training IN ADDITION TO THIS CLASS TO BE QUALIFIED TO PERFORM DOT UDS COLLECTIONS!

This Proficiency Training class includes training and observation of mock collections performed according to DOT requirements. Each person must have at least (7) copies of the new HHS Federal five-part Custody and Control Form in use by their laboratory and (7) corresponding sealed split specimen collection kits. Mocks will be performed by web cam or in person. A permanent copy of the collector certificate shall be maintained by Transmetron, and the collector shall be notified when future refresher training is required.

Who should attend: New and refresher collectors, collector instructors, collector supervisors, occupational health providers, employers of DOT covered workers, auditors, insurance representatives, laboratory representatives, MROs, SAPs, MRO assistants, TPAs.

This course requires you to provide your own supplies (10 DOT CCFs, 10 DOT Collection Kits).
